I’m Kelsey Fulco, one of the owners of Blend Salon. I graduated from Harford Tech where I met my business partner, Ashley! We both started our career in cosmetology at tech back when we were in 9th grade, and here we are today, salon owners. I strongly believe post graduation is one of the most confusing time for self growth. I went through a challenging period myself, trying to decide whether I should go to college or do hair the rest of my life. It was such a stigma that “hairdressers couldn’t make a living” and that made it tough for me to stay in the industry. Honestly, the thought that this future decision would impact the rest of my life scared me. I started my salon life very young as a shampoo girl and continued after high school working at a salon but it just wasn’t a great fit. Later down the road, I started to question if a career change would be how I could financially be able to afford my future.
After a few years at a salon, post graduate, I decided to give hair a break. I turned to another passion of mine which was fitness. I started working at a gym and I got my certification as a personal trainer. Not long after I started, I not only realized that personal training wasn’t for me, but that I would talk to clients more about their hair than their work out. My head was never mentally 100 percent in the fitness industry. Slowly I started doing clients from the gym’s hair at my house because they knew I was a previous stylist. At that point, I felt a little lost in what I truly wanted to do with my career. Even though I was unhappy where I was at I’ve always had a strong work ethic and will give 100% no matter what my job was.
Taking the leap of faith to get back into the hair industry was the best decision I ever made.

I’m Ashley Huster, one of the owners of Blend Salon. I’ve been behind the chair since 2014, and working in a salon since I was 15. Crazy enough, I got my first job in high school as a shampoo tech! I met my business partner, Kelsey, at Harford Tech, where I went to school for cosmetology. We instantly connected and became the best of friends. It’s crazy to think about how much we would talk in cosmetology class about how our goal was to open our own salon one day, and 7 years after graduating, we made it a reality. The only reward I received at my senior awards ceremony was the gold cosmetology award of my class, not one single reward for academics, NOT SURPRISED!
I knew in the 7th grade when I applied for Harford Tech, that school and studies weren’t for me – I was ready to work. I became a stylist at a local salon in Bel Air at the age of 17. I put my heart and soul into learning the craft and pushed myself to become the best. After working in two salons with 6 years of behind-the-chair-life, I realized I wasn’t meant to be an employee. My drive for success was greater than anyone could provide to me. I saw something so much bigger than being content. I saw something that no one could create or fulfill for me. Without my support of my loving friends and family, 2 beautiful golden doodles and amazing fiancé, I would be no where near where I am today.
On my off time you can find me relaxing with a margarita in hand and my dogs on my lap! I absolutely love traveling to tropical islands, working out and shopping!!! If you're my client, you know how I roll – I’m an all or nothing kinda chick... and with that being said, everyone has a different vision of success, and mine has just started. Thank you to those who continue to support us and help us follow our dreams, words cannot be formed for what you all mean to us. We love you guys. I'll see you in my chair! Cant wait to hang out!

Im Alex Manjerico, a stylist at Blend Salon and a new resident to the Harford County area! I have been in the beauty industry since 2014. Starting as a shampoo tech in high school, I quickly fell in love with everything this industry had to offer. I have worked in almost every field from tanning and lashes to makeup and hair, even owning my own studio salon.
During 2020 I realized my true passion was for extension services so I took as many classes as I could and got certified. I have since been completely obsessed and love creating custom transformations for each of my clients. I’m never scared to take on a color correction to be able to help someone achieve their dream hair!
In my free time you can find me at the beach, enjoying a concert with my boyfriend, or having some tacos and margaritas with friends. When we aren’t out and about we’re relaxing at home with our cat Tequila. I’ll see you at Blend!

Hi! I’m Dani! Best way to describe me is that energetic kooky stylist that brings a smile to everyone’s faces. I like to keep the good vibes rolling in the salon and make sure every guest in my chair feels their greatest, inside and out!
I have been a licensed cosmetologist for just about 10 years. When first starting out in my career I was very shy. Due to feelings of timidness, I immediately took to loving any & all hair education. I love working beside likeminded stylists and learning as much as I can. Thus, how I found myself working alongside Ashley & Kelsey at Blend. My specialties are in blonding and I’m hoping to continue to add onto the growth of my career so I can become the best stylist for every guest!
Outside of the salon, my hobbies include hanging with family & friends. I have a large family on both sides and we will use any excuse for a nice get together. I also enjoy attending music festivals & concerts. I love music of all genres and I love the fun, funky, energy a music festival brings! My boyfriend and I also enjoy a nice fancy dinner, so if you’re in my chair, send any restaurant recommendations my way! Above all, I hope to maintain a strong friendship and trust with all of my clients for years to come and have everyone leaving feeling happy and beautiful!

I’m Samantha DiMattei-Blake, but everyone calls me Sammie. I’ve been a hairstylist for 10 years. Following high school I immediately started cosmetology school. While attending cosmetology school, I worked as a prestige consultant at Ulta beauty in Canton, helping customers with makeup & all things beauty related. After I received my cosmetology license, I transferred to The Salon at Ulta beauty. After working at Ulta beauty for 3 and a half years, I decided to open up my own salon suite with a partner in Federal hill. Ultimately, I made the choice to move to Baltimore County where I worked for a private salon. During this transition period, my passion for makeup became my predominant focus, and so while taking hair clients at my in home studio, I also began doing freelance makeup and wedding makeup for bridal companies.
Once I got married & moved to Harford County I realized I missed working in a salon full time. Now I’m expecting my first child and I look forward to navigating the balance of becoming a mother and a stylist. Being a positive role model to my future daughter is my main motivation. Making others feel and look beautiful has always been a immense passion of mine and the opportunity to express myself through my work makes me the happiest.
Away from the chair, you can find me performing at live music venues, Horseback riding and shopping with my sister, cooking my Italian families favorite recipes, traveling with my husband and taking my Aussiedoodle “Dolce”everywhere I can with me.

I’m Megan Thompson, an independent stylist at Blend Salon. I graduated from North Harford High School in 2009 and immediately started working in a Salon following graduation. I started there as a shampoo tech and quickly fell in love with the industry. I then did a 2 year apprenticeship through the salon and took my state boards to get my cosmetology license! I’ve been in the industry for 15+ years and behind the chair for 12+ years doing my craft and loving every second of it.
My goal as a stylist is to help my guests look and feel their very best. I love the people I’ve met and the relationships I’ve built along the way. I strive to have a good work/home balance so I can be the best version of myself and be a positive role model for my son.
When I’m not in the salon you can find me spending time with my husband, our son and 2 dogs! Weekend trips away in our camper with my family is my happy place. I love shopping and traveling! Any cute little farmers market or quaint small town with shops, I’m there! Quality time with friends and family is what it’s all about for me!

Hi! I’m Emma Duncan. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for about a year now, and have been working in salons since I’ve been out of high school. Following high school I was completely unsure of what career path I wanted to follow. I attended community college for one semester and ultimately decided that a typical 9-5 job was not for me. Almost immediately after that, I did some research and enrolled in cosmetology school!
Pursuing my passion for beauty was the best decision I’ve ever made. I couldn’t imagine a different career for myself, and I continue to learn something new day in and day out!
Outside of the salon, music is another passion of mine. I love attending concerts and am always down for a karaoke sesh! My boyfriend and I also love going to the movies, trying new restaurants, and of course spending quality time with our friends and family. Lastly, I have an Australian Cattle dog mix named Kali who I love to death! Her and I love spending time outside together or even just having a lazy day on the couch. She’s my bestie! I’m so lucky and grateful to be working and learning alongside Kelsey & Ashley. I have big dreams, and am so motivated to make them a reality. I am beyond excited to see some of you in my chair and to make you feel beautiful!

I'm Ava Eckley, one of the assistants at Blend Salon. I was born and raised in Harford County and knew I would pursue a career in cosmetology as soon as I graduated high school. As long as I can remember, I have wanted to make people feel beautiful, and now I am blessed to be able to work at a modern lux salon living my dream!
I want each of my clients to know that I take the privilege of being their stylist very seriously - not only do I want to meet their expectations, but my goal will always be to exceed them. I am invested in educating myself in everything this incredible industry has to offer to ensure that I am offering the newest and best techniques available. There is so much to be excited about in this career that I have chosen, but I must say at the top of the list is to curate an experience tailored to meet the individual needs of each person.
In my downtime, I love gardening, interior design, having gatherings at my home where I can make my friends feel special, spending time with my family and taking care of my animals. My dream is to have a family and raise them on a farm with as many animals as I can possible fit! I would love to see the world and experience other cultures and infuse that into my work.
